Tajikistan and Turkey Hold Political Consultations

DUSHANBE, 26.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Tajikistan and Turkey held ministerial political consultations in Ankara.
The Tajik delegation was led by Muhammadi Muzaffar, the deputy head of the Middle East and African Countries Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Turkish delegation was headed by the Director General for Bilateral Political Affairs (Caucasia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yonet Can Tezel.
The consultations focused on the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and Turkey, the ways to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, transportation, education, culture, as well as security and expansion and improvement of the legal framework.
The parties also had constructive talks on strengthening cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations and other issues of mutual interest.
