Tajikistan Will Host Meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in 2022

DUSHANBE, 15.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 13-14 in Minsk, a delegation of Tajikistan led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sodik Imomi took part in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS CFM).
The parties exchanged their views on topical issues of the international agenda and interaction in the CIS format.
Following the meeting, the heads of delegations signed 14 decisions, in particular, they adopted the draft Statement of the CIS Heads of State in connection with the 30th anniversary of the CIS, approved the plan for holding multi-level inter-ministerial consultations within the framework of the Commonwealth for 2022, as well as the regulation on the international association of historians and archivists of the CIS member states and others.
The next meeting of the CIS CFM will be held on April 8, 2022 in Tajikistan.
