Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives Meets Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 25.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Speaker of the Assembly of Representatives Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Gavvam oglu Askerov.
The meeting focused on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan, including in in the spheres of trade, economy, education, health care, social protection of the population, and the expansion of the regulatory framework.
“We express our readiness to increase the level of relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with Azerbaijan in various fields, and also pay special and constant attention to the development of friendly relations between our countries,” Zokirzoda said.
“I am confident that the inter-parliamentary friendship group will work together to being the mutually beneficial cooperation to a qualitatively new level,” he said expressing his confidence regarding the expansion of inter-parliamentary relations.
