Tajik Ambassador Meets Iranian Governor-General of Hormozgan Province

DUSHANBE, 04.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Tehran, the Ambassador of Tajikistan Nizomiddin Zohidi met with the Iranian Governor-General of Hormozgan Province Mehdi Dousti.
Considering the huge transit and transport potential of Hormozgan, the parties discussed the use of existing capabilities of the ports of this province, especially Bandar Abbas, for expanding trade cooperation between Tajikistan and other countries of the region.
The Iranian side presented the trade and economic potential of Hormozgan and expressed its readiness to take steps to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of economic and trade structures of Hormozgan.
