DUSHANBE, 10.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday on the sidelines of the 41st session of the UNESCO General Conference in Paris, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the National Commission of Tajikistan for UNESCO Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay.
Muhriddin noted his appreciation of the level and content of the multifaceted relations of Tajikistan with UNESCO over the past period of leadership of Azoulay in the organization.
Also on behalf of the leadership of Tajikistan, he congratulated her on being re-elected to the post of Director-General for the second term and wished her new professional success.
The Tajik side expressed gratitude to the Director-General for assistance in holding and joint participation with the President of Tajikistan in the event of the Day of Culture of Tajikistan at UNESCO on October 14, and expressed confidence in further achievements of Tajikistan’s cooperation in all areas of the organization’s activities within the framework of the next mandate of Azoulay.
