President Signs a Number of Laws

DUSHANBE, 23.12.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed 45 bills into law today.
Among them the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan On Countering Terrorism, On Physical Culture and Sports, On Poultry Farming, On Youth and the State Youth Policy.
Other signed bills are the Tax Code in the new edition, as well as amendments to the laws On Providing the Population with Fortified Food Products, On Education, On State Social Insurance, On Protection of the Rights of Consumers, and On the National Policy in the Field of Industry.
The Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan has been adopted in a new edition, which, along with the existing benefits and privileges, provides new benefits. In particular, the number of taxes is reduced from 10 to 7 items, the value-added tax rate is reduced from 18 to 15%, hotel services from 18 to 7%, sales of domestic agricultural products and processing of agricultural products from 18 to 5%.
