Tajikistan and Turkey Agree to Strengthen Cooperation in Creation of a Joint Investment Fund
DUSHANBE, 27.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Turkey Ashrafjon Gulov met with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey Chetin Ali Donmez.
The parties exchanged views on the current situation and further steps for implementing agreements reached at the 11th meeting of the Tajik-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, as well as forums and other working meetings.
Given the great importance of industry for the development of the economy of Tajikistan, as well as the achievement of national strategic goals, including the accelerated industrialization of the country 2022 — 2026 years has been declared as the Period of Industrial Development.
In this regard, it became necessary to hold virtual meetings in the industrial sector, including light industry, and as a result, send experts from ministries, departments and business delegations of Turkey to Tajikistan to study investment opportunities and look for business partners.
Along with this, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in the creation of the Joint Investment Fund.
