DUSHANBE, 08.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Sughd to review the socio-economic development of the region and to take part in the opening of the industrial, cultural and entertainment facilities, as well as to hold a meeting with the locals.

His visit began in Buston where he opened a new modern Nurtez industrial enterprise, which will produce more than 40 types of screws of various shapes and sizes. Its annual capacity of 3,600 tons of nails and was established by domestic entrepreneurs and cost 15.3 million somoni. Fifty local residents were provided with good jobs.

According to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, Tajikistan’s annual requirement in nails is 8,000 tons. Raw materials are mainly imported from the Russia.

Nourtez is reportedly the second enterprise in Tajikistan producing rolled nails. The first one was built in Buston in 2019.

He also attended the reopening ceremony of a jewelry production enterprise Zari Sughd, which is one of seven manufacturing enterprises of Fuluzoti Nodiri Tojikiston.

The company produces jewelry, various souvenirs, badges, busts, as well as gifts and souvenirs from decorative stones. Zari Sughd utilizes local raw materials.

Following the inauguration of Zari Sughd, President Rahmon inspected the project design of the enterprises of the Fuluzoti Nodiri Tojikiston.

Fuluzoti Nodiri Tojikiston has seven production facilities. One of seven enterprises working with rare metals of Tajikistan is the enterprise Khujand-Zil, which has already started work on equipping the branch transport.

It can now upgrade ambulances, special police vehicles, water trucks and municipal vehicles.

President Rahmon also attended the opening ceremony of the Ganjofar enterprise, which is involved in metal processing and production of steel profiles and pipes.

Ganjofar was established with the aim of strengthening the process of intensive industrialization of the country.

During his visit to Bobojon Ghafurov, he took part in the inauguration ceremony of the ndustrial enterprise Tojir Plast, which will produces polyethylene containers from 100 liters to 5 tons.

The production capacity of the enterprise is 400 containers of various sizes per month. It manufactures more than 30 types of polyethylene containers of various sizes and processes from 8 to 10 tons of raw materials per month.

After attending the opening ceremony of the Sitorai Sughd furniture company, President Rahmon put into operation the water supply line of the State Agricultural Enterprise Palos in Sughd.
