DUSHANBE, 15.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The message reads in part:
«Dear Serdar Gurbangulyevich,
I sincerely congratulate you on your election to the high state post of the President of the friendly Turkmenistan.
The results of the election have fully confirmed your high political authority, as well as public’s support for the policy pursued in your country for the comprehensive socio-economic development and strengthening of its international position.
We attach special importance to the friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan which is based on the principle of strategic partnership.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to emphasize the interest of this side in close joint activities with you for the further development of interstate relations between the two countries for the benefit of our peoples and in the spirit of mutual understanding, mutual respect, and trust.
