DUSHANBE, 01.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Ambassador of Tajikistan Erkinkhon Rahmatullozoda met with the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Veronica Dockendorf.
The parties extensively reviewed the complex of relations between the two countries, with a specific emphasis on topical issues of relations between Tajikistan and Luxembourg.
The meeting focused on cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the activities of international organizations, including the United Nations.
They reached an agreement on mutual support for the candidacies of both countries once they are nominated at the relevant structures.
Rahmatullozoda also talked about the latest initiatives of Tajikistan in the field of water diplomacy by marking specific activities in this area and handed the invitation from the Tajik Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda for the Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel to Dockendorf.
The parties agreed to monitor and follow up on the progress of the activities and contacts for the future.
