Tajik Delegation Attends Tashkent International Investment Forum

DUSHANBE, 28.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – From March 24 through March 26, delegation of Tajikistan attended the Tashkent International Investment Forum in Uzbekistan.
The forum is a new platform for strengthening cooperation between the countries of Central Asia, where the investment potential of Uzbekistan was presented to investors and entrepreneurs.
It was attended by heads and representatives of leading international financial institutions, ministries of investment of foreign countries, international and regional organizations, in total more than 1,500 people.
The forum focused on investment issues, expansion of cooperation with international financial institutions, economic and social reforms of the government of Uzbekistan, logistical cooperation and transit of goods between countries, development of new routes, simplification of the transit of exported goods.
Tajikistan was represented by Assistant to the President for Economic Affairs Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management Sadi Kodirzoda, and a group of entrepreneurs.
The delegation was also accompanied by the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda.
Representatives of more than 30 Tajik companies and entrepreneurs took an active part in the forum and held negotiations with entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and other participating countries to establish trade and economic cooperation.
