Tajikistan’s Trade with the EU Increased by 14.1 % in 10 Months of 2022

DUSHANBE, 12.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Trade and Economic Cooperation between Tajikistan and the EU was discussed on December 9 by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda and Advisor to the Director General of the EU Trade Commission Eva Synovets.
Zavkizoda mentioned that bilateral trade increased by 14.1 percent in 10 months of 2022. The EU supports projects in the economic and social spheres to fulfill the development goals of Tajikistan.
In response to the request made by the Tajik side in order to expand trade and economic cooperation, support domestic producers and access to the EU markets, Synovets expressed her readiness to conduct discussions on the unilateral exemption of customs duties for goods produced by Tajikistan.
