OIC Delegation Will Attend Dushanbe Second Water Conference

DUSHANBE, 16.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On April 14 in Jeddah, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Akram Karimi met with the OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha.
The meeting focused on the current state and prospects for cooperation between Tajikistan and OIC. At the same time, a broad overview of the preparation process for the second conference International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028» was presented. In turn, Husein Ibrahim Taha confirmed that the OIC delegation will take part in this important international event.
The parties also exchanged views on topical international and regional issues, including the situation in Afghanistan.
