Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Discuss Prospects for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 20.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was discussed at the meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda and the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismoilov in Tashkent.
The parties emphasized that in the light of the policy of the heads of state of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, relations between the two states are rapidly developing and are acquiring a new meaning and content.
The parties also discussed strengthening effective cooperation between the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan and the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan and spoke about strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields.
