President Emomali Rahmon Holds Phone Talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan

DUSHANBE, 03.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) — Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
At the outset of the conversation, the counterparts exchanged warm congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. President Rahmon wished the brotherly people of the friendly Turkey peace, well-being, abundance, and ever-increasing prosperity.
The officials discussed the expansion of the Tajik-Turkish multifaceted cooperation in various areas. They also expressed mutual satisfaction with the current level and content of cooperation in trade, economy, security, cultural and humanitarian fields, and in other areas of interaction.
President Rahmon noted the importance of continuing constant dialogue, including in the highest levels, for the effective work of the entire range of bilateral relations. He also renewed his invitation to President Erdogan to pay an official visit to Tajikistan at his convenience. Agreements were reached on coordinating specific dates for the said visit through diplomatic channels.
