Organizational Committee of the Dushanbe Water Conference Holds Meeting

DUSHANBE, 23.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The forth organizational meeting of the Organizational Committee of the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028» took place on May 20.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda and was attended by the leadership of ministries and agencies — members of the mentioned committee.
The meeting focused on the progress of implementation of the results of the second meeting of the Organizational Committee of the Second Dushanbe Water Conference held on May 18 under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda.
The main issue of discussion was the process of preparing the events of the Second Dushanbe Water Conference, including the International Exhibition “Water for Sustainable Development,» Dushanbe Water Festival, Global Water Marathon, virtual reality exhibition on the theme “Tajikistan’s experience in the water sector,» tourist excursions for guests of the conference, and other related issues.
The Second Dushanbe Water Conference will be held from June 6 through June 9.
