National Unity Day and Anniversary of the 16th Session of the Supreme Council of Tajikistan Celebrated in Doha

DUSHANBE, 24.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Embassy of Tajikistan in Doha organized a meeting with the participation of Tajik citizens living in Qatar in honor of the 25th anniversary of the National Unity Day and the 30th anniversary of the 16th Session of the Supreme Council of Tajikistan.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Qatar Khisrav Sohibzoda congratulated compatriots with these significant dates which are forever inscribed in golden letters in the pages of modern history of Tajiks and which play an epoch-making role in the practical implementation of national ideals and building a democratic rule of law.
Sohibzoda noted that national unity is the main force behind the unprecedented historical progress of Tajikistan in the effective implementation of its strategic development goals.
The Embassy showed documentaries and historical photographs about the process of restoring peace, building the foundations of a democratic rule of law, creating a free civil society, ensuring a fair legal system, and implementing social and economic development programs based on the decisions of the 16th Session of the Supreme Council of Tajikistan.
