Tajik Delegation Meets UN Deputy Secretary General for Economic and Social Affairs

DUSHANBE, 30.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) — On June 28, in Lisbon, on the sidelines of the UN Ocean Conference, Tajik delegation led by Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma met with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Liu Zhenmin.
The meeting focused on findings of the Second International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028” in Tajikistan and preparation activities for holding the UN Conference on the Mid-Term Review of Water Decade to be held in New York in 2023.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda.
