Tajikistan and India Discuss Science and Technology Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 30.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) — On June 28, in Lisbon, on the sidelines of the UN Ocean Conference, Tajik delegation headed by the Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma met with the Minister of State of the Ministry of Earth Sciences and Ministry of Science & Technology of India Dr. Jitendra Singh.
The meeting focused on cooperation between Tajikistan and India in the fields of science and technology, especially scientific based technology for water management and focus on glacier protection, energy sector, “CASA-1000” project and Covid-19 pandemic combat.
The Tajik delegation also includes Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea Sulton Rahimzoda.
