Tajikistan and Iran Hold Tourism Forum in Tehran

DUSHANBE, 14.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 9, Tajikistan-Iran Tourism Forum was held in Tehran in collaboration with the Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.
Along with the representatives of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran and the Committee for Tourism Development of Tajikistan, the forum was also attended by the heads of travel agencies of both countries, representatives of associations, exhibitions, and mass media.
The forum began with a speech by the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi who highlighted the current state and the prospects of relations between Tajikistan and Iran in the light of President Emomali Rahmon’s recent visit to Tehran.
He noted that the signing of bilateral documents during this visit created a favorable basis for strengthening cooperation in various fields, including in tourism.
The heads of the travel agencies Orient Tour, Rasul Tour, Go Travel, and Khidmatrasonii Sayohi presented the tourism potentials of Tajikistan in their speeches.
The photos and the films about Tajikistan’s tourist attractions were also showcased and cooperation contracts between Tajik and Iranian companies were signed.
