FM Muhriddin Attends CICA Informal Ministerial Meeting in New York

DUSHANBE, 22.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin took part in an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the member countries of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measure in Asia (CICA).
The meeting related to the development of the institutional capacity of CICA, its transformation into an international organization, as well as the development of integration within the framework of CICA.
Along with other international initiatives of Tajikistan, Muhriddin recalled the initiative to declare 2025 the International Year for the Protection of Glaciers and the need to establish the International Glacier Protection Fund under the auspices of the United Nations.
