Khovar’s Director Meets Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 20.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Strengthening cooperation for information exchange, coverage of important events and significant achievements in the state media of Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia were discussed today by the Director of Khovar Saidali Siddiq and the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan Waleed bin Abdulrahman Al Reshaidan.
The parties confirmed the development of bilateral relations in all fields, especially in the economic and cultural spheres.
Considering the rich experience of Saudi Arabia Director of Khovar expressed his hope that the media of Saudi Arabia would effectively promote tourist sites, clean and healing waters, beautiful nature and historical places of Tajikistan.
Siddiq gave a brief explanation about Khovar’s history and the difficult situation on the border caused by the armed aggression of the Kyrgyz Republic.
He also called the establishment of cooperation between Khovar and Saudi Press Agency beneficial for both countries.
Likewise he noted that a cooperation agreement has been diplomatically submitted to Saudi Arabia. The implementation of this agreement will lay a solid foundation for reflecting the important events of both countries and promoting their achievements.
He stressed that yesterday, he personally attended a briefing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and is aware of the latest events on the Tajik and Kyrgyz border, which led to the death of dozens of civilians.Al Reshaidan expressed hope that all disputed interstate issues will be resolved through diplomacy and will find their solution.
Al Reshaidan noted that he would promote the establishment of information relations and media cooperation.
Ambassador stressed that on September 19, he personally attended a briefing of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and is aware of the latest events on the Tajik and Kyrgyz border, which led to the death of dozens of civilians.
He expressed hope that all disputed interstate issues will be resolved through diplomacy and will find their solution.
According to the Ambassador, bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan already have a 30-year history, but there is still a lot of untapped potential in all areas.
“The Embassy and diplomatic staff of Saudi Arabia in Tajikistan will constantly strive to implement them,” he stated.
