DUSHANBE, 16.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today at 14:00, in order to normalize the situation on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border, at the Ravot border checkpoint of Konibodom, a meeting of delegations of the two countries was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan Saimumin Yatimov and the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic Kamchibek Tashiev.
According to the Press Center of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan, the leaders of the delegations came to an agreement to declare a ceasefire starting from 14:30 today. In order to stabilize the situation and ensure compliance with the requirements of the ceasefire document, a joint working group has been formed at the expense of the leadership of the security forces of the two countries.
Currently, the situation is relatively stable.
The Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan is in full control of the situation at the Tajik-Kyrgyz border.
