Tajikistan and the ICRC Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 21.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, on the sidelines of the High Level Week of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer.
The meeting focused on expanding bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the ICRC, already implemented projects in the country, security and stability in the region, the current situation in Afghanistan, and the need to provide humanitarian aid to this country.
Muhriddin expressed his gratitude to Maurer for strengthening bilateral relations between ICRC and Tajikistan during his tenure and wished him all the best in his future endeavors.
