Topographic Groups of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan Hold Talks in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE. October 17, 2022 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Topographic working groups of governmental delegations of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan for delimitation and demarcation of the Tajik – Kyrgyz state border held talks in Dushanbe from October 10-15.
“The parties exchanged views on the passing of the line of the state border in the remaining sections and agreed to continue discussions at the next meeting, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan,” according to Tajikistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On October 13, following the meeting of the leaders of Russia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in Astana, an agreement was reached between Dushanbe and Bishkek to intensify the work of government groups to delimit and demarcate the common border and solve all emerging problems only through diplomatic means.
