An Online Meeting Was Held on Attracting Foreign Investment in Tajikistan’s Industrial Sector

DUSHANBE, 24.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – From December 21 through December 22, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda, an online meeting was held between the Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir and the heads of diplomatic and consular missions of Tajikistan abroad.
The meeting focused on the results of the development of the industrial sector in 2022, achievements, challenges and opportunities to attracting foreign investment to create joint ventures and provide jobs for the population.
The participants also stressed the need to take joint steps in 2023 to achieve objectives of the government and successfully implement the fourth strategic goal “Accelerated industrialization of the country” and further development of the industry in the years of industrial development 2022-2026.
