Tajikistan and France Discuss Prospects for Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 09.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Paris, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna.
The meeting focused on the state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral mutually beneficial cooperation.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the fruitful results of the official visit of the President Emomali Rahmon to France in October 2021 and a political dialogue conducted at the highest level.
The ministers stressed their readiness to further enhance and enrich relations between the two countries.
The meeting also focused on issues that were discussed during a telephone conversation between the leaders of the two countries in November of this year.
They raised other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, in particular the situation in Afghanistan and border strengthening.
