UNESCO Appreciates Role of Tajikistan as an Initiator Country on Global Water Issues

DUSHANBE, 09.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, on the sidelines of the UN-Water Summit on Groundwater in Paris, which is taking place in UNESCO Headquarters, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the National Commission for UNESCO Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Assistant Director-General of UNESCO for Natural Sciences Shamila Nair-Beduelle.
The meeting focused on the topical issues of the global agenda on water and climate.
Nair-Beduelle highly appreciated the role of Tajikistan as an initiator country on global water issues.
