Amonatbank and Azer-Turk Bank Sign Cooperation Document

DUSHANBE, 06.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Amonatbank and Azer-Turk Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document was signed by the leadership of Amonatbank and Azer-Turk Bank within the framework of the Investment Forum of Tajikistan and Azerbaijan, which took place on April 4 on the eve of the state visit of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Tajikistan.
Following the signing ceremony, a B2B meeting was held between the leaders of Amonatbank and Azer-Turk Bank.
The meeting focused on issues of bilateral cooperation and the establishment of banking operations, such as the opening of correspondent accounts, round-the-clock placement (overnight), currency exchange and mutual exchange of practices of the parties.
The heads of the banks agreed to create a working group from among the relevant employees of the central offices of the banks and to implement these plans as soon as possible.
