DUSHANBE, 23.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Chinese company «Huawei» with the financial support of Zhongguancun Smart City Co., Ltd has decided to build a Data Center in Tajikistan.
“Within the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to China, A memorandum between the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Center “Zhongguancun Smart City co., Ltd” and the company “Huawei Technologies Tajikistan on the creation of a National Data Processing Center (Data Center) on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan was signed. Based on this document, the Chinese company «Huawei» with the financial support of Zhongguancun Smart City Co., Ltd has decided to build a Data Center in Tajikistan” — according to the data posted on the Tajik ministry’s website.
The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan for the rapid industrialization of the country and dedicated to the Years of Industrial Development (2022-2026) has established cooperation and close relations with development partners and prestigious foreign companies in order to implement various industrial projects. The establishment of the Data Center, which was built with the financial support of the Chinese company Zhongguancun Smart City Co., Ltd is one of those projects.
