Tajikistan’s Khovar and Turkmenistan State News Agency Sign a MoU

DUSHANBE, 11.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, as part of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Tajikistan, the National News Agency of Tajikistan “Khovar” and the State News Agency of Turkmenistan “TDH” signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document was signed by the Khovar’s Director Subhiddin Shamsiddinzoda and TDN’s Chairman Merdan Gazakbaev following the top-level meetings and talks between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in the presence of the heads of state Emomali Rahmon and Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The MoU was signed to strengthen cooperation in the field of information exchange.
According to this document, the parties will provide each other with materials on important events in the internal and external life of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as exchange experience and study trips to improve the professional skills of employees.
It should be noted that in general, as part of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Tajikistan, 23 new cooperation documents were signed by ministries and departments.
