Representative of Tajikistan Attends the Meeting of the Heads of CSTO Intellectual Centers

DUSHANBE, 30.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Studies Parviz Muhammadzoda took part in the meeting of the heads and representatives of the intellectual centers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which was held under the title of “Analysis and forecast of the activities of institutions in the zone of CSTO responsibility” in the Russian city of Moscow.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan attaches paramount importance to expanding comprehensive cooperation with the CSTO member states to strengthen national, state security and the priority direction of the state’s foreign policy.
The activity of Tajikistan within the framework of the Organization pursues the goal of creating effective means of combating the threats and dangers of the modern world. In this regard, the republic’s membership in the Organization is one of the important factors in ensuring the country’s security and protecting stability in the region.
It was noted that Tajikistan, as one of the founding states of the Organization, has made a significant contribution to the development and provision of collective security in the area of CSTO responsibility throughout the history of its activities.
