Quake Affected Houses in Kuhiston Mastchoh District Will Be Restored by August 1

DUSHANBE, 19.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The houses of citizens who suffered after the earthquake on March 23, 2023, will be built and restored in Kuhiston Mastchoh district by August 1.
The issue of restoration and construction works was discussed at a meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations.
The construction of residential buildings for victims of natural disasters is proceeding smoothly. Food products, construction materials and monetary compensation to the victims allocated by the government were provided by the district’s Disaster Relief Commission.
Specific proposals have been made to strengthen construction and reconstruction works and control over them.
Responsible persons have been given instructions to accelerate construction work.
It should be noted that as a result of the earthquake on March 23, 219 residential buildings were damaged in Kuhiston Mastchoh, including 4 houses were completely destroyed and 53 houses were partially damaged.
