Tajik Scholarships Holders Receive Chinese Government Scholarships
DUSHANBE, 02.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – A solemn ceremony of handing out notices of admission to Chinese universities was held in Dushanbe as part of the Chinese Government Scholarships 2023 Project.
The Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Ji Shumin noted that in recent years, Tajik-Chinese cooperation has been growing stronger, the countries are continuously deepening cooperation in the field of education, communication and interaction between the youth of the two countries is strengthening day by day.
He noted that the establishment of the Chinese Government Scholarship has become a huge incentive for Tajik youth to learn Chinese and receive education in China. In 2023, 103 girls and boys from Tajikistan became scholarship holders. 53 of them took part in the certificate presentation ceremony in Dushanbe.
Representatives of the Tajik Ministry of Education and Science Farrukh Khudoydodzoda noted that the allocation of quotas for the education of citizens of Tajikistan in educational institutions of China and the training of specialists for various sectors of the economy and science of our country contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations between the ministries of education of the two countries.
The purpose of establishing the Chinese Government Scholarship is to stimulate, encourage the activity and initiative of Chinese language learners, provide successful students, school students with the best conditions and extensive resources. Scholarship winners are determined by the success of schoolchildren and students in learning the Chinese language and the results of the Chinese Language Olympiad.
