DUSHANBE, 25.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) –  On October 25, 2023, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, got acquainted with the autumn sowing process and the fruits of the farmers’ labor in the city of Vahdat.

The great Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, got acquainted with the process of autumn sowing and growing of vegetables in the farms «Lola», «Manzura» and «Kodir» of the village of Abdullo Abdulvosiev, Vahdat city.

The farmers of Abdullo Abdulvosiev’s villages have planted onions and grain in autumn and prepared the land for planting early potatoes.

There are 2,225 hectares of arable land in the rural community of Abdullo Abdulvosiev, of which 1,888 hectares are irrigated. The production of fruits and grapes, cereals, vegetables, potatoes, cotton is the main activity of the villagers.

In the main crop, the workers started growing grain, legumes, onions, potatoes and other types of food. Due to replanting, maize was produced for grains, cabbage, cucumbers and fodder.

At present, the process of field work is going on with the use of all the possibilities, and it is mainly on this account that the consumer market is supplied with early foodstuffs.

After getting acquainted with the activities of farmers, the Head of State visited the exhibition of labor achievements of residents of Vahdat.
