Tajikistan and Iran Strengthen Military Ties
DUSHANBE, 19.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Defense Sherali Mirzo met with the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, who arrived in Tajikistan on an official visit.
The meeting focused on issues related to the situation in the region and the world, the current state of cooperation between military departments, bilateral plans within the framework of effective military cooperation, the development of military-technical relations, the exchange of information and training in the joint anti-terrorist fight, other issues of plans and prospects for military cooperation.
An exchange of views took place on issues of further expansion of military and military-technical cooperation.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral military relations and the success achieved in this direction.
