Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia Hold Ministerial Political Consultations

DUSHANBE, 03.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 2, the next round of ministerial political consultations between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia was held in Dushanbe.
The consultations were chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Farhod Salim and the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji.
The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in the political, economic, trade, investment, tourism, legal, cultural, scientific, educational and healthcare spheres.
The consultations also focused on cooperation between the two countries within the framework of regional and international organizations.
On October 2, as part of the consultations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Muhriddin received the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia in political, economic, humanitarian and other areas of mutual interest.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on using broad opportunities for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
