Foreign Minister Meets Director of the Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts

DUSHANBE, 13.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday in Paris, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Director of the Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts Sophie Makariou.
Muhriddin thanked the management of the Guimet Museum for their work and collaboration with the museums of Tajikistan to hold the exhibition of historical items titled “Tajikistan – the Land of Golden Rivers,” and for the excellent organization of the official opening ceremony of the exhibition under the patronage and with the participation of the presidents of Tajikistan and that of France on October 13.
The exhibition of unique artifacts from the National and Archaeological Museums of Tajikistan, as well as from the British Museum (Amu-Darya Treasure) will last until January 10, 2022.
This event contributes to the popularization of the ancient history and rich culture of Tajiks, and will help attract more tourists from European countries to Tajikistan.
