Telecommunication Networks of Tajikistan Will Be Directly Connected to Chinese Telecommunication Networks
DUSHANBE, 17.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – In the near future, a direct connection between the telecommunications networks of Tajikistan and China will be implemented, which is of great importance for Tajik side in the field of communications.
This measure is being carried out within the framework of the project for the construction of a high-speed trunk transport network in the direction Dushanbe — Kulob — Darvoz — Rushon — Khorug — Kulma.
In order to quickly implement a direct connection between the telecommunications networks of Tajikistan and China, practical work is currently being carried out at a rapid pace.
It should be noted that these measures contribute to the creation of additional high-speed international fiber-optic communication lines to connect to global Internet networks. This will also increase the significance and transit potential of the country’s telecommunications networks and eliminate the communication isolation of the republic.
The communications service is laying fiber optic cables on highways under construction.
In this direction, it was reached an agreement between the Communications Service of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan on the laying of fiber-optic telecommunication cables on roads under construction.
The agreement makes it possible to provide roads and remote areas with telecommunications, including mobile communications. Also, the importance of installing fiber-optic telecommunication cables on such roads is manifested in increasing the level of reliability of intercity and international trunk telecommunication lines.
