DUSHANBE, 06.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 4 in Kasane, 18th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage with participation of the representatives of UNESCO member states was launched.
Representatives of state parties to the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage participating in the session, which will continue its work until December 9.
Today, during the session, Tajikistan`s joint nomination with Iran, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkiye “Tazhib – the art of illumination” was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
