Development of Interparliamentary Relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan Discussed in Baku

DUSHANBE, 19.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On January 18, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan Ilhom Abdurahmon met with Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova.
The parties exchanged views on the current state and further development of inter-parliamentary ties between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan, as well as the prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields through inter-parliamentary mechanisms.
The meeting also focused on the issues of organization of mutual visits and strengthening of working contacts between the committees, inter-parliamentary friendship groups and commissions of the parliaments of the two countries.
