DUSHANBE, 16.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received the personnel who were appointed to leadership positions in financial and banking structures, education sphere, the National Academy of Sciences, youth and primary and secondary vocational education committees.

During the conversation, the Leader of the Nation fully analyzed and reviewed the activities of the mentioned structures and demanded from the newly appointed leaders the responsibility and strong will of leadership for the more effective and high-quality activity of these structures.

The training of young talents and highly qualified personnel is considered one of the main goals of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and effective measures are being implemented in this context,- the Head of State said.

«Relying on the creative energy of the youth of independent Tajikistan and training specialists with knowledge and skills that meet the requirements of international financial and economic institutions, we can ensure the stable development of our country in the future,» — the President of the country emphasized.

Increasing the level and quality of education in the country’s secondary and higher education institutions, paying attention to language learning and choosing the right profession and occupation, selecting and training young personnel at various levels of science, supporting inventive and innovative scientists, reforming the structures of institutes and research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences, the relationship of science to production and inventions, providing conditions for full and sooner transition to the non-cash payment system, digital economy and attracting foreign capital to the country’s economy were among the main topics of conversation.

The heads of missions of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund received specific instructions and assignments.

«For an independent Tajikistan, we need specialists who do not spare their intelligence, skills and existence for the sake of progress and development,»- emphasized the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, at the end of the meeting.
