Tajik Football Team to Hold Control Match against Hong Kong Team in Abu Dhabi
DUSHANBE, 02.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the preparation for the 2023 Asian Cup, Tajik national team will play one control match at a training camp in Abu Dhabi.
The team will play against the Hong Kong team (China), which beat the Chinese team the day before with the score of 2-1.
The match will take place on January 4 in Abu Dhabi at 16:00 local time (17:00 Dushanbe time).
The match will be held behind closed doors, without broadcasting. According to the agreement, coaches will be able to use an unlimited number of substitutions during the match, so the match will not be taken into account in the FIFA rankings.
At the 2023 Asian Cup, Tajik team will play in Group A against China (January 13), Qatar (January 17) and Lebanon (January 22).
