Buston Hosts a Regular Meeting of Working Groups of the Tajik and Kyrgyz Government Delegations

DUSHANBE, 19.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In accordance with the agreement reached, from February 11 through February 18, Buston hosted a regular meeting of topographic and working groups on legal issues of the Tajik and Kyrgyz government delegations on border delimitaion and demarcation.
While having conducted joint field surveys in the remaining areas, the parties agreed on 1.11 km of the border line.
The parties will continue to work to describe the remaining areas at the next meeting, which will take place in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Following the meeting, a corresponding Protocol was signed.
