Geneva Hosts Coordination Meeting of the UN SPECA

DUSHANBE, 09.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The coordination meeting of the UN’s Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) took place on February 8.
The Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva Sharaf Sheralizoda chaired the session of the SPECA.
The meeting also included the participation of the UNECE Executive Secretary Tatiana Molcean and the Permanent Representatives of the SPECA member countries to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.
The participants discussed issues related to strengthening regional trade and economic cooperation within SPECA and its work agenda in 2024.
Tajikistan assumed the leadership of the SPECA in 2024.
