Tashkent Hosts the Tajik-Uzbek Ministerial Political Consultations

DUSHANBE, 14.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 13, the next round of Tajik-Uzbek political consultations took place in Tashkent.
The delegations of the parties were headed by the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Sodik Imomi and Rakhmatulla Nurimbetov.
The consultations focused on the state of bilateral political cooperation and prospects for the further development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.
It was took place an exchange of views on the interaction between Dushanbe and Tashkent within the framework of international and regional organizations.
The parties paid particular attention to the issues of preparing the content of the upcoming contacts at the top levels.
As part of the event, it was held a meeting of Imomi with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and separate consultations on an inventory of the legal framework of relations at the level of heads of structural divisions of foreign policy departments.
