DUSHANBE, 11.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) –  Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, held a working meeting on the practical implementation of the instructions and proposals that were voiced on March 9 during his meeting with active representatives of society and religious figures.

During the meeting, which took place with the participation of the leadership of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Supreme Court, the General Prosecutor’s Office, the relevant ministries and agencies and scientific and research institutions of the country, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the relevant officials must develop well-founded and targeted plans and programs and carry out necessary measures for the practical and effective implementation of the instructions, guidance and proposals outlined on that day, which resonated among different sections of the society.

It was emphasized that all the available resources should be utilized in order to prevent and eliminate extravagances during conducting of folk and religious traditional ceremonies and celebrations, including Hajj pilgrims’ ceremonies, expensive receptions, following unreasonable superstitions and customs, xenophobia, and vice versa, to promote and encourage the rich national culture and increase the sense of pride and dignity from the independence and freedom of beloved Tajikistan.
