Somon Air opens direct flights on the route Khujand — Urumqi — Khujand

DUSHANBE, 02.05.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. Somon Air announces the opening of direct international regular flights on the route «Khujand — Urumqi — Khujand». Now residents of Khujand have an opportunity to fly directly to Urumqi. The first flight will take place on May 16. Somon Air reported.
Flights from Khujand to Urumqi will be performed once a week, on Thursdays, in the opposite direction — on Fridays. From Khujand to Urumqi airplanes will depart at 21:00 hrs local time. Departure time from Urumqi to Khujand is 04:00 hours local time. All flights will be carried out on Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 airplanes.
Let us remind you that currently Somon Air airline performs flights from Dushanbe to Urumqi. Flights are carried out weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. Departure time is 22:30 local time. Flights from Urumqi to Dushanbe are operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Departure time is 03:30 local time.
To date, Somon Air has successfully operated flights from Tajikistan to Germany, UAE, Turkey, China, India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The airline’s fleet includes Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft.
