Delegation of Tajikistan participated in the meeting of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow

DUSHANBE, 22.06.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/. On June 21, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Hokim Kholikzoda took part in the meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow.
During the meeting, the heads of delegations exchanged views on topical issues of economic interaction in the CIS space and agreed on draft documents aimed at further strengthening cooperation in various areas of the economy and social sphere.
In the framework of the event, the Director of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the CIS Council of Heads of Statistical Services Jamshed Nurmakhmadzoda made a report on the activities of the CIS Council of Heads of Statistical Services in 2020–2023.
The relevant decisions were taken on all the issues on the agenda.
