Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda met with Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani
Dushanbe, 11.05.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Yesterday, on May 10 the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani within the framework of his official visit to Tajikistan has also met with the Prime Minister of the country Kohir Rasulzoda.
Among the main topics of the meeting were the issues of expanding and strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations, as well as promising directions of cooperation between Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani have also discussed the issues of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, strengthening of ties in political, trade-economic, investment, scientific-technical, education and health care spheres.
Based on economic cooperation, it was noted that the current volume of trade turnover between the two countries is growing, for 11 months of 2015 it has reached more than 104 million U.S. dollars, 52,8 million of which accounts for exports and 51.6 million U.S. dollars for imports.
